Steve Jobs: Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things - they push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy ...

Who doesn’t dream of having a work-from-home job? Think about it. No morning commute. A better work-life balance. Spending more time with your friends and family. Now consider this: What if working from home doesn’t need to be done at your current home, and you could find a job that allows you to do remote work from anywhere in the world? It's the ultimate fantasy: Make money and pursue your travel dreams at the same time. To help job seekers find these coveted remote jobs, FlexJobs has identified the top 25 companies that had the most work-from-anywhere in the world remote job listings in 2018.

"With work-from-anywhere remote jobs, professionals gain a lot of control over their work lives by being able to live wherever they choose,” says Brie Reynolds, senior career specialist at FlexJobs. “That sense of control lends itself really well to people who aspire to travel and work, and it can make them both happier AND more productive as professionals. It can also foster a sense of loyalty from professionals to their employers because they appreciate the opportunity to live and work wherever they choose."

In August 2012, production moved to New Delhi and Vrindavan in order to provide the setting for Jobs' 1974 trek to India. Locations include "Delhi's Jama Masjid, the Hauz Khas Complex, Safdarjung Tomb and Humayun's Tomb."[13][15] Aseem Bajaj (Bandit Queen, Chameli, and Khoya Khoya Chand) served as cinematographer for scenes shot in India, though cinematographer Russell Carpenter went to India as well. Bajaj notes that they "shot guerrilla style in the crazy and mad by-lanes of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. We shot near the Red Fort and the famous Jama Masjid for two full days with multiple cameras spread across everywhere. Ashton stood frozen with the chaos staring right in his face which helped us capture what Steve Jobs must have felt on his visit to India."[14][16]

Production began in June 2012 at Jobs' childhood home in Los Altos, California, with the help of Jobs' stepmother, Marilyn Jobs (who still lives there).[10] It was also observed by his sister Patricia.[11] UCLA was used as the backdrop for Jobs' time at Reed College.[12] The majority of the film was shot in the Los Angeles region.[8][13] Russell Carpenter was the cinematographer.[14]

Steve Jobs is portrayed by Ashton Kutcher, with Josh Gad as Apple Computer's co-founder Steve Wozniak. Jobs was chosen to close the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.[4][5]
These 25 companies on the FlexJobs list represent industries such as computer and IT, education and training, media, HR and staffing, editing and marketing. And some of the most popular work-from-anywhere job titles include project manager, content writer, front-end developer, user experience designer, human resources generalist and online English teacher.

Next, you may be asked to outline any skills and abilities you have to meet specific qualifications required for the job. If this is not the case, skip down to step 5 below. However, if this is the case, you'll need to provide a narrative for each set of required skills and abilities, and you'll be told how long it should be. You'll have to either:

While only 5% of remote jobs can actually be done from anywhere in the world, according to Flexjobs, the number of work-from-anywhere in the world job listings has increased 53% over the last two years. One thing that has contributed to this increase is the rise of technology. “With remote-friendly technology and high-speed internet now widely available, it’s easier than ever for remote employees to stay connected no matter where they are located,” says Sara Sutton, Founder and CEO of FlexJobs.

In the same interview, Fernandez and Kottke commented on the characterization of Rod Holt (portrayed by actor Ron Eldard). Kottke disputed the characterization, noting that: "What completely cracked us all up is the scene where Rod arrives for the first time. Rod comes up wearing leathers, riding up on a motorcycle with long hair ... he's like this motorcycle dude. It just cracked us all up."[7] Fernandez, who had not seen the film at the time of the interview, was also surprised by this portrayal. Holt, however, (according to Kottke), "thought it was hilarious."[7] As for why he may have been characterized this way, Kottke states that, "Rod was really into dirt bikes. And I never saw him riding one, but he talked about it all the time. So the author just had him riding up on a motorcycle. I liked that guy. I met him on the set. I had no idea who he was when I met him because he doesn't look at all like Rod, he has long straight hair and he's wearing leathers."[7] Fernandez, who was equally amused by this vision of Holt responded by asking, "Who could this possibly be in the Apple universe? ... It seems to me that there's a lot of fan fiction about Apple Computer and about Steve Jobs, and I think that this is the biggest, flashiest piece of fan fiction that there's been to date. [7]
